Andrew K. Lo, Esq. J.D

Andrew K. Lo, J.D.

     Andrew K. Lo, J.D.,  has over 22 years experience as a successful  attorney and business owner in Los Angeles. His greatest accomplishment is raising two beautiful children, Elizabeth and Joshua. He is assisting them in setting up Share My Cope, Inc. so that they may pursue their passion for helping other young people who are suffering alone and who are in need of a safe, supportive community.

     Andrew has a strong sense of civic responsibility to be of service to others in need.  He has been awarded the District Award of Merit by the Boy Scouts Metropolitan District in Los Angeles. The District Award of Merit is presented to registered Scouters who have rendered noteworthy service to youth either inside or outside of Scouting (or both).  Andrew has also been recognized by the City of Los Angeles for outstanding contributions to the community. 

      Andrew is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego and the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco. (Formerly, UC Hastings College of the Law).

Joshua S. Lo,

     Joshua Lo, 15,  has a heart of service instilled in him early on by Boy Scouts. He has participated in helping many areas of his community. He has diligently worked to protect our environment and to help to support those in his community who are in need. He has been an active member of his local rotary club and has a sincere interest in helping youth. He partnered with his sister to co-found Share My Cope Inc. to support and educate youth about creative ways to cope with their most difficult mental health challenges.

Elizabeth S. Lo,

     Elizabeth Lo, 17,  has personally struggled with mental health issues. She has worked to improve the lives of others through her rotary club and various other organizations. She co-founded Share My Cope Inc.  with her brother to find ways to help youth who are in pain and  alone to cope with their own difficult mental health challenges.  Share My Cope Inc. wants to find alternative solutions recognizing that  traditional counseling may not be culturally acceptable and/or affordable to many young people.

Dr. Abraham Kim, P.h.D.

Abraham Kim, Ph.D.

     Abraham Kim, Ph.D., is the Executive Director at the Council of Korean Americans (CKA). Dr. Kim drives CKA’s mission to develop more impactful global Korean American leaders through education and collaboration. In addition, he works diligently to strengthen the national Korean American community to increase its voice and influence across the country.

     Previously, Dr. Kim served as Executive Director at the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Center, located on the campus of the University of Montana, where he oversaw and shaped global education, leadership, and professional training programs. During Dr. Kim’s tenure, the Center became one of the foremost U.S.-Asia policy and leadership development institutes in the Pacific Northwest and Northern Rockies region.

     Before the Mansfield Center, Dr. Kim also served as the Vice President and Interim President of the Korea Economic Institute of America (KEI) in Washington, D.C. In addition, he also functioned as the research manager for government services and principal Asia analyst at the global political risk consulting firm, Eurasia Group. He was a project manager and strategic planner at the Science Application International Corporation (SAIC) and a national security analyst at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C.

     Finally, Dr. Kim is a graduate of Boston University and Harvard University. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University.

Dr. Alan-Michael Graves, P.h.D, J.D.

Dr. Alan-Michael S. Graves serves as the Senior Director of Teaching and Capacity Building with the Good Plus Foundation where he focuses on a broad range of multidisciplinary activities, from research and program development to training and advocacy for policy change. Currently leading a National Initiative on policy change through training social workers in Fatherhood Engagement. 

     Dr. Graves has worked in the human services field, with extensive experience as a facilitator and administrator, for both public and private agencies, for the past 20 years.  He has brought these diverse perspectives to his work helping agencies develop, implement and evaluate interagency systems of care, family partnerships and community programming. 

     Dr. Graves serves as a Community Advocate to address Disproportionality and Disparity within organizations and systems across the country.  As a parent himself, he utilizes both his personal and professional knowledge and experience to strategically and positively impact the lives of children, families and communities.
